Hi, I was biking off road downhill and went into a hole in the road at high speed. I had to avoid the car that was coming and hoped to lift the bike over the hole, but failed.
I was launched and ended up 8 meters down the road.
I had a big cut under my chin, which had to be stitched in and outside. They removed a part of my chin bone that had broken off. I could not close my mouth and all my molars and 14 teeth were broken. Fortunately not the ones in front of my mouth. All my molars were crushed I broke both my hands.
Now half a year later I pretty much healed from everything, however my teeth are still causing me many problems. I have spent about 4 -6 hours a week at various dentists , extracted some, rootcanals and fillings.
Each of my dentists express their concern about this major accident but so far I am still on soft food and in pain. Is there anyone who can let me know what I should do or should I just be patient?

Been there done that. Stay strong! You made it out of the accident better than I did, minus the broken teeth. How fast were you going?

Hi, just thought I would leave a comment to say i loved this post. I rarely read blogs due to the lack of quality reading. I would just like to say thank you for actually posting something of value and hope to be reading your posts again.

Thanks for the vivid description of your harrowing experience. Glad you had a quick in and out at the ER and everything's okay.

Rich is a good man.
(and taken from experience, good at fixing/matching chipped teeth. )
